Today while i was sitting in the cathedral closely watching a chandelier swing on it's chain. I used my beating pulse to carefully time the swings of the chandelier, I found out that Aristotle's idea that the pendulum swings at a slower rhythm as it approaches its resting place was wrong. Instead each of the pendulum swings take the exactly the same amount of time. In another study, i found out that a falling object accelerates at a fixed predictable rate. I also tested Aristotle's theory that heavy object falls faster than lighter ones. I tested it by dropping stones of different weights from the leaning Tower of Pisa. While dropping the stones I calculated how fast each fell. Proving that Aristotle's assumption was wrong and finding out that falling objects fall at the same speed.
